It was such a great space for the family to talk and laugh and open presents. Mom had the 18oz special ribeye and she ate the whole thing! Food was good and ambiance was the best. The short ribs were wonderfully lean. The dessert was creative and yummy. The portions were perfect. I think they should use more seasoning to make the food pop. There were an annoying number of upgrades, none of which we selected, which ultimately made us feel like cheapskates even though we spent $200 a plate. We've had lovely meals here, with family from out of town, just the two of us on an anniversary or in this case, on Valentine's Day. We were there for lunch and the food tastes great. The only thing that was maybe a bit disappointing was that there wasn't any Valentine's Day decor. I would have expected a bit more ambiance for the occasion. I was pleased with myself that I reserved for lunch, to avoid the large crowd at dinner. It felt less rushed. The waiter was able to answer questions about the menu.
