The food was good. The service was good. The restaurant was nearly empty on a Friday night which I thought very odd. I was a little taken back when one of the guests tried to order a glass of Cabernet and they said they didn’t have Cabernet. He tried a Pinot Noir and it was awful. So he settled on a blend, which wasn’t all that much better. I would expect much more of wine availability from a Paso del Norte hotel restaurant.

The visit to the steakhouse was fantastic. The rib eye was cooked just right, juicy and full of flavor, paired with perfectly done asparagus that added a great touch. The mixed drinks were also amazing, well-made and refreshing. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

I read great reviews of this restaurant and had high expectations. We ordered the octopus chicharon and scallop tostada for appetizers and the NY steak for dinner. I expected the chicharon to be more flavorful. The tostada was great. The steak portion was big and the steak was cooked perfectly but had lots of fat. But very flavorful!! While the experience didn't meet my initial expectations, I will give it another try and order the fish instead.
