- GGSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWhat contributes to value and a great overall experience? We've been coming to Le Foret for a long time. We bring guests and have certain expectations for the drive, how the place will look, both outside and in, the service, the menu offerings and the food. Over the years, we appreciate the degree to which they have preserved every detail of the original concept of the restaurant. On this particular visit with out-of-town visitors, we had a difficult circumstance. The manager provided a great solution. Service was very professional. The food was exactly as we had hoped and they went beyond. The result was that we had a wonderful dinner experience with our visitors and all left feeling just great!More infoLa ForetPrice: Very Expensive• French• San Jose•4.6
- MmarieSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe are a bit biased, we love Left Bank. We've had lovely meals here, with family from out of town, just the two of us on an anniversary or in this case, on Valentine's Day. We were there for lunch and the food tastes great. The only thing that was maybe a bit disappointing was that there wasn't any Valentine's Day decor. I would have expected a bit more ambiance for the occasion. I was pleased with myself that I reserved for lunch, to avoid the large crowd at dinner. It felt less rushed. The waiter was able to answer questions about the menu. I was also a bit surprised that there were no special Valentine's Day additions to the menu.More infoLeft Bank Santana RowPrice: Moderate• French• San Jose•4.4
- KKristineVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •47 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis place is so aesthetic with mood lighting, high ceiling, and a buzzing atmosphere. Service from Makaela was top notch fantastic on Galentine’s (2/13)! We need more people like her. Cocktails were good. I got the Crimson & Clover (refreshing) and my friend got the spicy Tree of Life. Food was plated beautifully and the only complaint was saltiness for the pasta, pork chop, and mushrooms. We let them know. Flavors were delicious aside from that. They serve complimentary amouse bouche (savory cone with steak tartare & caviar that day), a palate cleanser to sip on (chilled honey citrus liquid), and even mini waffle bowls filled with chocolate ganache. So many nice surprises! We ended the night with sweet, hot n freshly fried loukomades beignets with honey, nuts, and angelaise cream hand poured table side. Excellent experience!More infoEos & NyxPrice: Expensive• Californian• San Jose•4.5
- DdonSan Francisco Bay Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoGood service; good food; great time. We enjoyed ourselves. The octopus was very good as was the crudo. We shared these as starters. My wife had a special - uni with squid-ink noodles and I had the seared dayboat scallop risotto. Both were quite good - the noodles were a little too much for my wife to finish (but she made sure to get all of the uni). My risotto dish came with 5 scallops which were cooked very nicely and presented on top of the risotto - there could have been a few more chanterelle mushrooms though. We split the Pecan Pie Tart for dessert. We finished with a couple of cappuccinos which were nice and hot with plenty of foam and great espresso. We brought our own wine and enjoyed it with the meal.More infoThe TablePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• San Jose•4.6
- MMichaelLas Vegas •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoGreat experience and food from start to finish. Like the Brussels sprouts, brine chicken, eggplant, rice, and the beet salad with prawns. The dessert shaped like cigars were a closer.More infoMeso Modern MediterraneanPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• San Jose•4.3
