Opting for the 5-course tasting menu during our visit on Wednesday evening, we were treated to a journey of flavours that were as refined as they were inventive. Each dish was a testament to the creative genius of Chef Aktar Islam and his team, blending traditional Indian influences with modern techniques in ways that delighted the senses. From the very first bite, it was clear that each plate had been crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, their knowledge of the dishes and wine pairings enhancing the entire experience. The highlight of the evening, however, was our post-dinner conversation with Chef Aktar Islam. We went for a birthday celebration meal and it proved to be the correct choice for the event. The service was faultless and the food was delicious which made the evening especially enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a sumptuous meal without it being overly fancy. Love the nods to Birmingham with the use of local ingredients.
