Best British Restaurants in Wicken

Honestly, the only fault I can find is it's not closer to my house. Absolutely superb food and service, my wife and I were celebrating our twentieth wedding anniversary and we were treated like royalty. We had the seafood platter for two and a sweet each which was more than enough. Cannot fault anything,a huge thanks to all involved, you made our evening very special.

Wonderful from entrance to exit, I’d highly recommend for those that enjoy a fine dining experience. The food was exquisite and flawless and their wine list could keep you entertained for some time! An expensive but not inappropriately priced wonderful restaurant, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Quite simply, this is one of the best restaurants in the world. The food is incredible. Every course was absolutely delicious, the ambience of the dining room is unfussy and welcoming. The staff are all friendly and efficient. And Brett Graham, the chef, takes his time to come to every table, explaining the dishes and chatting to his customers all through the night. Incredible. Up there with Core and The Fat Duck as my favourite restaurants in London, and one of the best dining experiences of my life. Stunning. I’m already planning a return.

As always, the meal was excellent. It was an 'old' school friends reunion, the extensive menu catered for all of our tastes. The service again as always leaves other eateries in the shade, friendly, unobtrusive, but on hand if we needed anything. Thank you to Gareth, Kate, and the team we all enjoyed our lunch. An extremely enjoyable evening's dining in very pleasant surroundings, enhanced right from the start with a complementary glass of very good prosecco. At all times the service - never intrusive - was polite and friendly. We chose only two courses, main and dessert + coffees. Each of these was perfectly prepared and presented - most of all, delicious. The main courses, quite ambitious and imaginative, were very tasty and enjoyable - finished to the very last morsel! Overall, a most delightful experience. Highly recommended and we intend returning soon.
