Best French Restaurants in Bayswater

Outstanding food and exemplary service. There’s a fine line between attentive and intrusive, but James and his team strike the perfect balance, which makes for a very pleasurable, unhurried and welcoming dining experience. My friend had the octopus starter and monkfish main. I had the wild mushroom and garlic starter and mushroom bourguignon main. The food was superb, unpretentious, yet had amazing depth of flavour. We finished with the honey bee tart and a madeleine- both were perfectly balanced, without being overly sweet. A thoroughly enjoyable meal and superb value for money, given the location, quality of ingredients and standard of cooking. I’m spoiled for choice working in the City and living between Highgate / Hampstead, but it was certainly worth the trip across town and I shall definitely be back.

Must be one top Restaurants in the world. Have been to Michelin stars all over Europe and USA and this stood out above just about all. The service is elegant and efficient, the room is cozy and beautiful, wine list excellent. Food is gorgeous but tastes excellent as well, then buerre blanc on the potato dish, is the best sauce I’ve ever had, magical.

A lovely neighbourhood restaurant. Very reliable and friendly. Gorgeous decor and lovely patient friendly service. Food was delicious. Hot camenbert is a firm favourite. My only gripe is that it is very expensive.

Our meal was absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful terrine followed by excellent perfectly cooked cod and then a wonderful passionfruit soufflé. They recommended a very good bottle of wine that went very with the meal. The bill was very reasonable, but was a bargain in view of the quality of our meal.
