Best Steakhouses in Gospel Oak

We got the Valentines Day set course. It was really packed and they were very busy. The steak for the main course took roughly 40 minutes to arrive but thats okay as it is freshly cooked and tasted great! The starters were scallop ceviche which i’ll give 6/10 and the crab meat and shrimp cocktail that come with 4 sauces which was nice 8/10. For the main we opted for Cote de Boeuf 850g it’s £20 supplemental per person, superb 10/10.We really liked it. We added peppercorn sauce as well. We had champagne and red wine which was also great. The dessert is a special valentines day dessert i’ll give it 8/10. Overall, the service was very good however there was minor accident when the lemon the staff was holding fell to my top and got some lemon juice onto it but thats okay! Overall still a good experience!!

Hubby's birthday so quick trip to London to celebrate and booked a table at Seven Dials for lunch. Food was well presented and tasted amazing. Sides are for sharing so three between two was ample and could probably got away with two. Hubby enjoyed his can of beer, Hawksmoor own brand, and I loved the fact there was a decent choice of non-alcoholic beverages. The young lady serving us was great, even singing Happy Birthday to hubby when presenting him with his chocolates and birthday candle.

The food at Hawksmoor was divine! We ordered the chateaubriand, and the meat was cooked to perfection with a sensational crust and fantastic tenderness! The sides were also excellent, spinach and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. We finished with a Sticky Toffee dessert, which was phenomenal! And, most importantly, we received super friendly service from Juliana! A 10/10 experience in a fantastic location in London, right next to Borough Market

The Heliot steakhouse is simply the best. I have never had a bad meal there and the service is superb. It is very good value for money and I totally recommend it.

We had such a lovely time dining here as a couple. The staff are outstanding and so polite and helpful. The bar staff are extremely knowledgeable and came to give an explanation about the alcohol choices. The food was really lovely and faultless. The feel inside the restaurant is very relaxed, we also went on a quieter evening. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
