Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Nutley

Asked for pasta and duck appetizers to come out after salads, everything came out at once. We ordered 2 different salads and two of the same were brought out. We ate the pasta and duck first so as they didn't get cold, then when we started on the salads we noticed they were the same. This should Have been spotted by the server before it being brought out. We had the pork chop and steak as main dishes. They were delicious

From the moment we sat down, the staff was next-level exceptional, anticipating every need like they had a crystal ball. Keith, our server, was the MVP, making sure everything was flawless. Seriously, this guy must moonlight as a mind reader or something. And then there’s Greg—the chef. Oh man, this dude’s not just a chef; he’s an artist with a side of wizardry. He came out into the dining room, checking on everyone like a culinary superhero. By the time we finished our four-course Michelin-star-level meal, all I wanted to do was shake this guy’s hand and thank him for putting together a dining experience that went way beyond anything I could’ve dreamed up. Love the feel of the dining room. You feel like you're in a funky place in Hoboken or the Village rather than suburban Jersey. The menu & wine never disappoints.

The food and service were great. The bread was nice and warm. We has the crab augratin and the Q'tal salad as appetizers and it was delicious. I had a pinot grio and my friend hasbthebberry passion which she said was delicious. As entrees, we had the half chicken and salmon dishes and it did not disappoint. For dessert er had tiramimus and Brule with cappuccino. The desserts was great. I thought the cappuccino was not hot. It was warm. And the was the only issue but I still enjoyed it. Overall, it was a great experience. Loved it.
