Welcome to Mikey and Mel’s, a living tribute to two great men who knew and loved a great deli experience. Our dad, Mikey and grandfather, Mel were deli “regulars,” dining at their favorite Cleveland, Ohio places. Mikey and grandfather. They savored juicy pastrami and corned beef, amazingly fresh pickles and intensely huge deserts. Their daily deli lunches were times to conduct business, strike deals and make friends. We often joined our dad and grandfather at the deli table. We remember the sights, smells and sounds of our favorite local deli–from the simple comforting decor to the aroma of deli meats and sour pickles. We also recall the brash and snarky staff. While we will always miss Mikey and Mel, we’ve decided there’s no better way to pay homage to two great men than by opening an old fashioned deli named for them.     We were there for a nice quiet dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. David, the server/bartender was very attentive and professional. The food was very good and the drinks made well. We always have a good experience when we go there. Keep it up!!

    Beautiful restaurant with impeccable service. We had a fantastic dinner. The salmon dip with thin cracker absolutely delicious. The spinach salad with a whipped mozzarella and warm beacon vinaigrette melts will have your kids eating their veggies. The main course we decided on was the rock fish in a light brown sauce with mussels and tortellini stuffed with crab and lobster. The ambience was great with a view of the Pike and Rose area. Beautiful night view. There is an entire area that’s shaped like a boat that’s used in warmer weather. We will visit for that experience.our new favorite restaurant. SEE YOU SOON! Oh I forgot to mention our server was extremely pleasant and gave great advice on what to order, ( WIN, WIN, WIN)! Unfortunately I forgot his name but if it helps we spoke about him learning Korean 😂. Sunday March 3rd 2025. He was the only server that we saw.
