Best Italian Restaurants in Welwyn Garden City

The best dinner in ages. Every course was delicious. The Parmesan butter with the sourdough, I could have eaten that for seconds. The lasagne lived up to the hype, the garlic bun was crisp and so garlicky and rocket salad was simple but the perfect side. Yum. I hate tiramisu but decided to try it and I’m so glad I did as it was perfect along with the chocolate sorbet. Loved the little venue and the staff were all welcoming. Wished the deli was open when we came as I’d definitely have been taking some bits home with us.

A must-visit for lovers of authentic Mediterranean cuisine! The frittura was crispy and light, the pescatora risotto rich and flavorful, and the grilled octopus perfectly tender. The zuppa di pesce was a comforting, aromatic delight. For dessert, the ricotta e pera was creamy and delicate, while the rum baba was soaked to perfection. Great food, warm ambiance, and excellent service—an absolute must-visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a lovely evening at Villa Bianca last night, the food was excellent. Was it expensive? Well that all depends on how you judge it against the quality of the food you are served, I have paid similar amounts for meals of a much lower standard to that we received last night, the wine list prices are a bit of a shock to the system though, way overpriced. The noise level was perfect and much better than other restaurants around the high street which tend to get rather loud and deafening the more the wine flows. The waiter, Daniel, was very attentive, but not overly, and made sure that all our requirements were fulfilled as requested. Will we return, yes most definitely but because of the high prices I think it would only be for those very special occasions rather than the “off the cuff “ meal out.

Always found Macaroni to be a great place to eat. Lovely environment, great food and friendly, helpful staff. Good value too. Recommend it
