Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Woking

Had a lovely evening at The Cornelian. Was our first time there and from the second we stepped in the service was impeccable. Max and Dylan were absolutely awesome all night. The cocktails were delicious, punchy with the alcohol as well as sweet and moreish. Very well made. Then the food... absolutely matched the experience of the evening. Incredible value for money on the valentines menu. I had the seafood platter and the lamb belly and rack. It was incredibly tasty. The chefs are masters. Fantastic food, drinks, service and evening. We'll be back very soon for sure.

Attended the evening of Thursday 13 February 2025. Nice surroundings. Taken straight to our table. Plenty of waiters. Unfortunately our waiter, while adequate, wasn’t as attentive as we noticed others were. We waited approximately 25 minutes between the starter and the main which we thought was a little excessive. An optional side was not delivered with the main and had to be re-asked for. Food was excellent, not budget but worth the overall cost. Service charge included in the bill and was not questioned, because despite the above minor negative points, was happy with the overall experience and will eat there again.

We had a table for 4 booked for my husbands birthday - all the staff were amazing, very friendly and all acknowledged his birthday. The food was also amazing, I had the Venison which was perfectly cooked and delicious, followed by the Chocolate and Praline desert - also absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere and we didn’t feel pressured to leave, despite being the last party in the restaurant. We had a bottle of rose champagne which was quite expensive. Overall, would definitely recommend.

They have had a beautiful renovation outside. It now matches the gorgeous interiors. Our meal was perfect- bread and panelle to start, then mussels, followed by two outstanding pizzas and a tiramisu (which by the way is probably the best one I’ve ever had). The staff are amazing the ambiance is perfect and all in it is a wonderful evening in.

The food is gorgeous and the staff were so knowledgeable, welcoming and kind. A wonderful experience!
