Welcomed by very friendly staff and seated promptly (though the restaurant wasn’t very busy at the time). We are always out to try new restos and so happy to come across this one! Mix of western and fusion, we had to try them all! Started off with the tasty bao buns and the Pho BO! - very delish, hard to just keep it at one bun to start! The pork in the pho was tender and delicious! And we had a variety to the pizzas to share - the Funghi was decadent with the hint of truffle - so yum! And we finished it off with the Matcha pancakes to satisfy the sweet tooth! - just enough matcha to taste and not too strong! Will have to try other plates on the next visit, which is for sure we’ll be back! The staff were all so friendly and always checking on us, making sure water is filled, smiles all the way! Do recommend for any occasion! Not to mention, great, clean decor, kinda California meet boho vibe!More infoSing Sing Commercial DrivePrice: Moderate• Pizza Bar• Commercial Drive•4.3
- MMariavipVancouver / British Columbia •27 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoGreat lunch. Felt rushed - the tone was set upon checking in (with reservations) that our table had a reservation and hour later. I looked on line and there were still availability for reservations every hour after ours. When you are having several courses, the timeline is set by the server who takes our order and the kitchen. Our order was not taken promptly so that at up into one hour lunch. At the the one hour mark, we were not yet finished but there were other table empty and no one waiting at the door. 😡 food was good and have been wanting to eat here for quite sometime. Would I eat here again -yes. Would I make a reservation for lunch - yes but at 2 pm when you know there is no reservations coming in for your table after because I want to enjoy the food and not chow down like I was at a fast food joint.More infoThe Lunch LadyPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Commercial Drive•4.7

- FFancypantsVancouver / British Columbia •51 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 29, 2023we made resos (thankfully) for two at 5:15 pm on sunday and there was only one table occupied at the time. as we checked out the menu, ordered and ate, the server turned away multiple walk ins as they were fully booked for the evening. two separate parties of walk ins even promised they would eat fast. the servers were genuinely friendly, and efficient. the cushioned seating was firm and comfortable, as long as you're not seated directly in front of the door. the menu looked interesting with different dishes and ingredients. their pho was solid with rare beef, brisket, beef balls, bean sprouts, lime and thai basil. the real stand outs were their crispy garlic butter wings, so addictive with the crispy garlic toppings and their pomelo shrimp and pork salad. the textures and crunch of the toasted peanuts with the deep fried cracker complimented well with the lime, fish sauce, and sugar vinaigrette, the salad was flavourful and refreshing. i would definitely want to come back with a bigger group to try more of their menu. the place filled up quickly. to avoid disappointment, best to make resos on open table. street parking is available and they accept credit cards.More infoHai Chi Em Modern Vietnamese CuisinePrice: Moderate• Vietnamese• East Vancouver•4.1
