- DDeboraPhoenix / Arizona •3 reviews5.0Dined todayWe were seated 10 minutes early for our 1pm reservation. Out server arrived at our table immediately and greeted us. We put in drink orders then when she came with those we ordered our appetizer and meal. We thought it might take a bit of time as the place was full but it was all out quickly. Ordered thr pot pie and braised beef and both good. This is where service got slow but I think they seated 3 or 4 new tables in her area at once so she was busy. Ordered thr mint cheesecake and that was amazing. Bill was $80 plus tax so not really bad for 2 people to have a nice meal with drinks and dessert. The tree and Christmas decorations were beautiful and we lucked out and were seated near the tree. Will make it a tradition each year to go back. Lucked out on the reservation because we missed it when it opened. So glad we got one!More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.7

- NNelsonvipChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIt’s crazy to think there are only three of these restaurants left in the world. We used to go to the Oak Brook location but now we finally got to visit the one in Chicago. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this was the original one. It’s a classic French bistro fare with amazing servers and food. I highly recommend the steak and frites! make sure to get your reservation early because we had to dine at 4:45 PM due to later dinner times not being availableMore infoMon Ami GabiPrice: Moderate• French• Lincoln Park•4.8
- GGiannavipChicago / Illinois •53 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoJust keep coming back with friends. Food, service (Nick & Ajay) are consistently great. Excellent reliable reds. Pizzas are impossible to resist, as are salads or the cannoli ! Really a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal.More infoLa Crosta Woodfire Pizzeria ItalianaPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Lincoln Park•4.7
- KKenvipChicago / Illinois •72 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI cannot count the number of visits we've had to The Girl and the Goat, but it continues to be a favorite for both personal and professional dining. I brought three colleagues, who have never been, to the restaurant for dinner. One diner is vegetarian, but there are menu offerings and options available to provide them with enough to eat. All three were quite impressed with the food. My only complaint would be our table was right next to the kitchen, which can be loud. However, we made due, and had an enjoyable meal. Service is always very good, and the cocktails are fun. If you're interested in dining, make sure you book way ahead, as there is almost no chance to get a table day of.More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8
