Welcome to Mahalo, created by Canadian sisters Emma & Brit, located in the heart of Casco Viejo, what began as a dream, became a reality. Mahalo Panama, opened July 1st 2016, and the concept was simple, healthy food, promoting healthy living, and providing a space for people to feel comfortable, as if in your own backyard. Mahalo has since branched into two locations, maintaining the original location as a juice bar under the name of Snack Shack, and the new Mahalo Cocina y Jardin with a slightly more intimate cozy setting offering an international menu with the same healthy base.     Exceptional tapas. Ask for the snack bar menu! We’ll be back on out next trip to Panama City. We shared 8 tapas dishes and had two glasses of Cava (sparkling rose) for under $70. before tax and tip. My wife thought it better than the very good tapas she’s had in Spain. For reference, I do very few comments on here.

    We finally managed to get a table at this restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience. Starting with the service—it was incredibly friendly, very helpful, and highly professional. The place was a bit cold due to the air conditioning, but after mentioning it, our waiter adjusted it for us. Now, let’s talk about the food, because it was absolutely delicious. We had garlic shrimp with homemade bread, grilled octopus, and meat, and everything was truly amazing. The food here is exquisite!
