Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Belle River

Booked a tea experience at Lily's & Elise to make up for a missed tea event on a Cruise in December. What we got was beyond our expectations in every way! The staff was wonderful (esp. Crystal), the food was spectacular in presentation, taste, and portion size, and the property was in tip top shape, including the rest rooms! My wife and I went for afternoon tea which some might think would be a few things to "nibble". It was essentially a lunch for two (with a raft of exotic teas) and a dessert tray to rivaled most of those I've seen in this vicinity. We'll be going back soon ... especially now that we've found out they have a robust menu including breakfast, brunch, tea, and "patisserie" ( read French pastries). Based on our conversation with Anna, the manager, the concept for the operation came from an establishment in NIce, France. We'll be in Nice this spring and we are sure it will bring back memories for us of Lily's & Elise on Livernois!

Wonderful place great food great location great people

We made reservations for 6:30 and were seated on time even though they were very busy. Mitch’s pita bread and dip was fantastic! We both ordered fish & chips and the food came out promptly and was outstanding! The wait staff wasgreat-came by to refill our water twice without having to ask. The food seems reasonably priced and we will be back to try their interesting menu (need to get back on a “meat” day during lent).

Ordered sweet and sour chicken/added shrimp; shrimp fried rice;crab Rangoon (appetizer); house, salad(2); sesame, chicken; lemonade to drink; and banana spring roll for dessert. With the exception of the shrimp fried rice everything was up to par. The shrimp fried rice had to be returned twice because it had a scorched smell and taste. The waitress was very attentive; a quick to provide a solution to the shrimp fried rice issue. Overall, the food was as expected. The service was excellent. The environment was not too loud, but not absolutely quiet. I have visit location many times over many years. And it seems to maintain a certain level of standard.
