Established in 1959, owners Jenny Youll and Mike Sabina expanded the once small coffeehouse of St. Michaels Alley into this intimate dining establishment in 2009. The restaurant provides three comfortable spaces for a dinner out with friends, date night, or a complete private event. The main dining room is wood paneled and intimate. The front room / bar area is more casual and social, yet still offers tables with linens and the full menu. The solid wood bar is a favorite dining spot for many of the regulars and locals.     We had a great dinner experiences here at Evvia. All of the dishes were delicious, but lamb chops was our favourite, juicy as it can get and beautifully tender as medium. Our server, Francesco was welcoming and attentive which made our experience very memorable.

    I'm a fan of this restaurant. Food is always consistently excellent. The cocktails are great and they can make a special one for you if you describe your likes. Very good wine list, too. Service is always solid, very friendly and they work as a team to ensure a good experience. We enjoy everything on the menu. Our top favorites: sesame pancakes w/ smoked fish, charred snap peas, charred cabbage, sashimi over rice, fish katsu, and the steak. And of course, dessert, we love the caramel choc. tart. Menu changes seasonally, the main ingredient may continue on the menu but the sauces and sides will be different, pending what's in season. We look forward to returning soon.

    Arrived early and was seated early. Staff was friendly and worked hard to keep things moving. We unfortunately had to wait a while for waitstaff to do first touch. Once drinks & food order taken, things went smoothly. Appetizer was great. Fish & chips and chicken sandwich were hot & tasty. Mahi Mahi tacos were fishy tasting. Took a while to get check, but online payment was fast. Overall good meal.
