Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Distillery District

We love Gusto 101, so we thought we would go to Gusto 501 to give it a try. The restaurant is unique with its multi levels which my wife and I loved. The food was excellent and our server, Alex made excellent recommendations. We are definitely going back.

Daphne is a restaurant truly worthy of 5 stars! I hosted my friends here for a galentines day brunch and we were truly impressed. The food was PHENOMENAL with each dish plated beautifully and rich with flavour. The staff was courteous, attentive, and friendly. Our server Armand aimed to please and succeeded in taking such great care of our table! The restaurant is SO LOVELY! The luxurious interior design adds to the experience. The manager Amanda also checks in on the tables and is so helpful with any special requests. I would highly recommend Daphne to anyone who loves delicious food, A+ service, and great vibes.

Servers were so nice! They were more friendly and warm rather than cold and respectful, felt like they were focused on taking care of our experience over the foods experience which was a nice change. Food came out so quick and was great, despite the pasta coming out a little cold. Ambiance and noise levels were perfect for a date night. The "Tap that Cake" was an affordable desert that overall added to the great experience. Would highly recommend to any visitors!

We decided to use Winterlicious to try out Aera. First of all the view is amongst the best in North America , overlooking the city with the CN tower and lakes in full view. Truly breathtaking. Our server was highly attentive. We both started with the Beet and Goats Cheese salad which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. My wife had the Salmon Pone Bowl with Edamame, Avocado, Quinoa flavoured with ginger and a delicious sauce. I had the Pork Loin Schnitzel with some of the best roasted potatoes I have ever eaten. The star of the meal however was the Sticky Toffee Pudding which came with praline encrusted ice cream, it scored 20 out of 10. From this first experience we have decided to celebrate our anniversary this year with dinner and some nice wine at Aera and to enjoy the full menu experience. I have had the luck through my career to have eaten at many of the worlds finest restaurants, I do not exaggerate when I say I would place Aera in my top 10 for ambience and quality. Joined the Guided Tequila Tasting dinner in Feb 2025. The hosts, Doug and Pamela were engaging, knowledgeable and very upbeat! The food was amazing and the chef came out multiple times to let us know what we were being served, and that was a nice touch! Definitely good value for your money. I left happy, knowing more about tequila, with a very full belly and a little buzz! Great night out! Thanks El Catrin! I would love to do this again!
