- AAmyvipCentral Kentucky •17 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis has become our go to restaurant when we want a night out. The food is always excellent and we usually get something different every time we go ……. Except for the appetizer, we always share the Tortelloni then fight over who gets the last swipe of sauce. You’ll want a double order for your meal. Service is great and we love the vibe. Five stars every time!More infoPorciniPrice: Expensive• Italian• Frankfort Ave - Crescent Hill•4.8
- TTaliaCentral Kentucky •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoA friend and I went to Varanese for his 25th birthday. OpenTable had an option to specify if the reservations were for a special occasion and I said yes, for a birthday. We got to the front desk and they brought it up almost immediately, which really surprised my friend, and they seated us at a table with a little "happy birthday" sign on it. The live jazz band even played a snippet of the birthday song and have him a complimentary birthday dessert with a little candle on it. He loved it! Our waitress was great, and we didn't want for anything. The owner of the restaurant was milling around, checking on patrons and just being an overall lovely host. All of the food was delicious. This was pretty much the best American-style cuisine restaurant I have ever been to. It was all very classy, flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Nothing was overdone or undercooked. It got a little loud on a Friday night at 7pm, but honestly, that's just Frankfort Ave for you on a Friday night lol! It didn't bother me enough to affect my rating though. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially for special occasions — they really do go all out.More infoVaranesePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Frankfort Ave - Crescent Hill•4.7

- LLydiaSeattle / Eastern Washington •6 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024Our server, Conner, was knowledgeable about the menu, and the restaurant itself, as were all of the staff. Efficient, also. The food (salads, duck confit and rack of lamb) was truly remarkable: flavorful, nuanced, and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.More infoLe RelaisPrice: Expensive• French• Highlands - Bardstown Rd / Taylorsville Rd•4.8
- TTONYACentral Kentucky •6 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024The wait time for less than 5 minutes for out table. The staff was attentive and polite. Chloe suggested and recommended several items on the menu and it was not disappointing. For drinks we had Kentucky martini and a Kentucky lemonade. Both were great! If you don’t like rye whiskey, this is not for you! I loved it. On to the food, appetizer was boom boom shrimp and wontons. The shrimp was tastefully made and you can savor the seasoning. The wontons were good but not as great as the shrimp. We had seafood trio. Flavorful and plenty! Also had the chicken and shrimp pasta. Definitely a lot of food and the taste was phenomenal. Tonight did not disappoint!More infoCaptains Quarters Riverside GrillPrice: Moderate• American• East Louisville•4.6
