Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Old Town Scottsdale

Lobster tempura, rock shrimp, warm mushroom salad, and yellowtail sashimi were amazing. The sushi was well above average. The atmosphere was great, the servers (even those passing by) were phenomenal. The one sticky point: The Nobo-rita is a very good drink but $65 is double its value. Overall, I'll be back and I'll bring others.

We have been to Cafe Monarch once a year for the past few years for a special night. It never disappoints. The setting, both inside and out, are subtly elegant, the service is knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive, and the food is fabulous, creative and an experience. Now it is definitely not cheap but we continue to go back because it is such a wonderful and special dining experience. My wife and I are gluten free due to intolerances but they were able to accommodate all of our choices. We certainly couldn't go there regularly but, for a special night out, I don't think it could be beat.

Meal is always great and the staff is amazing. A place not to miss.

Amazing first time experience!!! When we arrived our private tasting was ready and set up for us. The gentleman who helped us with our wine tasting was very thorough with the wines and the selections made.

Delicious tapas and paella! There was not one bad dish! The only issue we had was the noise level. We sat outside and there was live music - which was great - but it was played so loud we could not carry on a conversation. We asked the waiter to have them please lower the volume and I think they just cranked it up louder.
