- MMarijoyWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe brunch had numerous options. For hors d'oeuvres: the Frissee Lardon was well-dressed and topped with a perfectly poached egg; and the Soup a L'Oignon had perfectly caramelized onions and was topped with delicious golden crust of Gruyere cheese that over flowed the bowl. For entrees: the Tartine featured a buttery salmon and parsley spread that was well complemented by the slightly acid capers and pickled shallots; and the Loup de Mer was perfectly cooked and the butter sauce and nuts added to the flavor and texture of the dish. For dessert: the Pots de Creme was creamy and flavorful with no bitter chocolate aftertaste; and the Mocha Creme Caramel was firm and creamy with the almond praline adding a satisfying crunch. The Mimosa was light and refreshing. The Bloody Mary was average. The ambience was that of a cafe, not a fancy restaurant. The food was as high quality as any french restaurant, and the portions were generous. Highly recommend for a delicious french cafe meal!More infoCafe CollinePrice: Expensive• French• Arlington•4.8
- MMARY LYNvipWashington, D.C. Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFirst time. Was a little concerned after reading other reviews and map didn’t get us to the front of the restaurant. But from there, all was stellar. Service, ambiance, food were over the top skilled, delightful and delicious. We canceled our reservation for my husband’s birthday so we could come here instead. We’re fussy, so this is a huge tribute.More infoClarityPrice: Expensive• French American• Vienna•4.6
- JJudithWashington, D.C. Area •14 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 12, 2024We greatly appreciated the consideration of the staff. The walk to our table for two, both of us elderly and using canes, was difficult. The young host was apologetic and, unbidden, took the price of our soft drinks off the bill. We waited a bit long for our meals, but to be fair, it appeared that many dinners arrived at once. The food, a smash burger, and the salmon en croute, was very good.More infoParc de VillePrice: Expensive• French• Fairfax•4.1

- FFoodiWashington, D.C. Area •20 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 16, 2013Had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. We sat at the counter and were able to watch the chef make everything. Since we went on a Monday, wine was market price, so we enjoyed the salmon special and pork chop with a bottle of wine. Too bad they're closing the restaurant portion, because we would definitely go back. Looking forward to taking some cooking classes there though!More infoOpen KitchenPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Falls Church•4.2
