The interior has a distinctly late 19th century feel with wooden furnishings brought from Belfast, Ireland.Serving a wide range of domestic and international beers 25 on tap.     If I tell how fabulous the food is, it will just make it harder for me to get in next time. So why would I tell anyone that they make the best baked clams in the city? Or the veal chop smothered in peppers is to die for the fact I have been coming here for over thirty years and the quality hasn’t changed shouldn’t influence anyone to go to Montes so do me a favor and go somewhere else

    Fabulous!! Nothing bad about this experience! The food was phenomenal and the vibe of the restaurant was so perfect for this time of year! Made a reservation walked in and was seated immediately! Definitely will be visiting again! Highly recommend the steak frites, the pollo Montallo and the creamed spinach! What a great night!

    Sugar Bar is a vibe!! I drove from Baltimore to visit. The hospitality, food, ambiance and bartender Terrell all top notch. Thursdays entertainment is worth the drive. One thing we did have a comment on is the cover charge for the upstairs. You watch the entertainment on a tv. We got paying the cover charge for the main room. My thoughts were the cover charge is for the host possibly. Either way, it is so worth visiting!!! We had an amazing time.
