Best Steak Restaurants in Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino

Very tastefully decorated room was surprisingly empty for 6:00 on Saturday night. Live music with guitar player/singer was a nice touch. Sat at a table for 4 for just two of us, so lacked a little intimacy, but not a deal breaker. Caesar salads and warm bread where spot on, glass of white wine and a Peroni draft that wasn't cold enough for my liking. Ordered the non-prime 16oz New York, was cooked medium rare as requested and had a nice crust but really nothing remarkable, had steaks as good for quite a bit less. The filet and pomme frites was probably a better deal, smaller meat portion, but tastier steak. Our server was super nice and friendly, did not rush us but was there when we needed her. 2nd glass of Peroni was also not cold enough, but we overall enjoyed the visit and would probabley repeat although likely not order steak. Burger at the table next to us looked good and I am tempted to try the Shrimp Scampi.

After 6 months waiting for the our dinner reservation date to arrive, Golden Steer did not disappoint. My party of 7 came to celebrate my daughter’s 21st bday . We were seated in our own private room of the restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. Our family indulged in the table side Caesar salad prepped by Alex to start, cocktails (With Love was our favorite - we ended up ordering 3 for the table!) garlic bread, Aussie lobster tails, bone in rib eye, salmon, NY strip, Shrimp de Jonghe (absolutely incredible w/good sized and tasty shrimp!) tomahawk , the mushrooms, twice baked potatoes, cream of corn, and the bananas foster for dessert (also prepped table side) to top it off was so good! Service by Corey and James was so thoughtful and prompt. Not an empty glass in sight! Will definitely come back! Thank you for our awesome first dining experience! We look forward to dining there again and making that drive from LA for another special celebration. All the incredible reviews were spot on!

This is our go to spot and always a great meal! Lately we've been getting the antipasto salad which might be the best deal in all of Vegas. $20 for a "salad" that is more like a charcuterie and cheeseboard on top of a salad. This thing could easily serve four people. The Calabrese pizza is amazing! The perfect combination of spicy and sweet. I told my husband I will never order pizza from anywhere else in the area, if we are craving pizza we will get it from here for sure. We got one of the chicken specials and it was flavorful and delicious. I wish it was a permanent menu item. They always have really interesting and great specials here. They brought us free cannolis for our anniversary. I didn't think I liked cannolis, but I have been converted!

Americana was the perfect choice for my extra special date night. Cheryl provided a top tier experience for us and went out of her way to connect with us. The meal was a four star experience as we ordered the Steak Diane and the lamb.

The steak was perfect. Service was excellent. The price was comparable with other restaurants of the same quality.
