Best Date Night Restaurants in Ocean Beach

Always excellent at Island Prime!! Still, and I guess always will be pricey. If you want a great dining experience and don't mind the premium prices, this is a happening place!

The food and the service were excellent as always. The view was magnificent. The only draw back was the noise level it sounded like we were in the stock market. Very hard to talk and to hear the other person in my party.

Nice restaurant. It’s been here for years. Very attentive wait staff. Very popular place and it fills up quickly. Just one note of caution though—if what you want is a nice quiet dinner you may want to go somewhere else because it can get loud inside.

Beautiful historic venue with views of San Diego Bay from almost every table. The views- continually changing from catamarans to Aircraft carriers. History- the dining room is in the shape of the State of California. The beacon of light has been shining on the bay for almost 100 years. It is maintained by the Coast Guard. Food- delicious and beautifully presented. We had mussels, fried oysters, grilled peppers, beet salad, and the Yellow tail fish. We were pleased with all of our selections. You can also order seafood individually. Server Alicia was quite informative and attentive. Thank you for a pleasingly memorable afternoon/evening.

We were staying at the resort and didn’t want to leave so we chose Tidal for a birthday dinner. The food was fine, maybe a little pricey, the crème brûlée was fantastic! I was mostly disappointed with the fact I had made reservations well in advance and stated it was for a 50th birthday. I didn’t expect anything from them but I would think that a simple “Happy Birthday” would have been nice. The location was very nice. Would recommend to anyone staying at the resort.
