Walls are covered in beautiful custom-made wallpaper, painted tin tiles on the ceiling, windows open to two patios as weather allows and a larger-than-life mirrored bird sculpture overlooking the dining room.     This was our best dining experience was have reserved! Everything brought to the table was made to perfection from the maple bacon appetizer, salads, steak, sides, wine, and desserts. Shaun was an amazing server and provided the best recommendations to fit our wants and needs through the night. The atmosphere was perfect for a group dinner or romantic night out. We will be returning the next chance we get!

    Skulls is a regular stop of our’s when we are in Nashville. We love their dedication to showcasing jazz. Start the evening listening to Jay Vern, then hang out for whoever follows! Great food, service, and a cool atmosphere make it a must for foodies and jazz lovers!

    Mockingbird is always a charming experience. Our most recent trip was on Valentines Day. The table had a live flame tea light and rose petals on it. My only complaint was that our server was taking care of a large table of older women that kept him busy and not as attentive to us as I would’ve liked. Appetizer didn’t come before the food but I didn’t dock the rating for that for reasons already stated. Food was excellent- we got Pasta La Vista, Tatchos, and Bulgogi Hanger Steak and they were all fantastic. The ambience is perfect - dimly lit and well decorated. We will be back.

    We were greeted by a cheerful and courteous host team that quickly escorted us to our table. The table was amazing a semi-circle booth facing the bar. I highly recommend this table if you are an appreciator of great piano bar music. Our waiter was amazing and connected with all of the guests at our table quickly. He explained all the specials a little history about some of the drinks on the menu, including the famous Brittney drink, and then proceeded to make some of his personal recommendations. I highly recommend any of the seafood or sushi selections as they have been the best we have found in town. The manager came by several times to check on us and ask if we needed anything else. Overall, the experience was excellent and we always highly recommend this restaurant on our travels through Nashville. I would recommend making reservations well in advance and if you like, live music, make sure to request an area by the bar.
