When you first approach the greeter (Caroline) she immediately welcomes you by your first and last name before you get a chance. What a very nice warm welcome to start your night off. Then requested a window seat and no questions asked, go to the bar order drinks that come fast and then your window seat is ready. Next fast service by a friendly waitress. Atmosphere and food amazing! Would highly recommend this place to anyone! This is why we keep going back.

Our steaks were made perfectly to our liking and we were extremely comfortable in the luxurious ambiance. Service was outstanding and we will be back, but reluctantly telling others how much we liked eating there so we are delayed in our future reservations.

Great experience here! Food was outstanding. We had the deviled eggs which were amazing. I had the filet and he had the ribeye which were both perfect. The crème brûlée for dessert was also very good! The only downside was it was a little smokey but that’s to be expected.

Our server Chris was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend often request hot/warm water at restaurants. At restaurants that’s more catered towards westerner, they never refill unless asked for. Not Chris. Chris was attentive all evening even though he was busy with what seemed like every other table. Every time my girlfriend finished her cup of hot water, Chris immediately brought out another one. Never once at a “western restaurant” has this happened in my life. Chris made this experience unforgettable, and we’re truly thankful for the service.

I've been coming to the Market Pavilion Hotel almost since it was built and it keeps getting better and better! The staff is always very polite and welcoming, several of which I've known for many years on a first name basis! My stays are always topped off with a meal at Grill 225 where the food and service is unmatched. The slight seasoned char on the steaks is so delicious I don't dare dilute that flavor with any sauces. There's not a steak in Charleston like this! Much love and appreciation for the team at Grill 225!
