- JJoeMemphis / West Tennessee •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur meal at Girl & the Goat was wonderful! The service was friendly and helpful. He knew the menu and ensured our experience delicious. We began our dinner with the naan. The dips served alongside were excellent. Next we enjoyed the chickpea fritters that we crisp with creamy inside, accented by pomegranate. We definitely wanted to try the goat empanadas, and were glad that we did. Our next course that we enjoyed were the wood-fired mussels. The broth was delicious. We ended with the roasted pig face. Our server enticed us with dessert. We finished our meal with the apple hand pie. Overall, we loved this place.More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8

The grilled shellfish platter was one of the best dishes I’ve had in my life. We had a little bit of a later reservation so the kitchen was closing soon after our appetizers but our server made sure to get our entree order in and did not make us feel rushed at all. He brought us out some desert and even a little toast to celebrate our anniversary. Our busboy as well noticed that our table was uneven and fixed it without being asked. Even the manager was attentive and stopped by the table to see how everything was. I will 1000% be back for the excellent service and amazing food.More infoEl Che Steakhouse & BarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• West Loop•4.7

- RRyanSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI took my mom for a Valentine's Day lunch. We went around 3 PM, and even though my reservation was at 3:30 PM the staff were nice enough to let me in. Granted it was a low volume of people eating at the time. We were sat near the windows which added to the ambience of our visit. The music made it feel like we were in an old fancy jazz club. I had the French onion soup and the chicken sandwich while my mom had the Walnut turkey club sandwich. Both sandwiches came with well seasoned fries. The food was delicious and our waitress, Annette, was very attentive and sweet. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely go again. I would highly recommend the Walnut Room.More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6
- EEmilySan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWhat a delight! Our party of 4 came to HaiSous on a snowy evening while we were in town for work and wanting to explore Chicago beyond the downtown core. We got a wonderful meal in an interesting location. We ordered the set menu—two of the vegetarian option and two of the regular—and that was absolutely the way to go, as it got us tastes of nearly everything on the menu and saved us from having to choose. The dishes were incredibly creative and truly delicious. Hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, it'd be a showdown between the eggplant and the veggie curry.More infoHaiSous Vietnamese KitchenPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Pilsen•4.7
