Best Restaurants for Groups in Belmont

Our server Patrick did a great job even though the dining area was busy with multiple groups. He was professional and attentive throughout our luncheon experience. The food was delicious as always. We will be back soon!

We went here two days in a row - It was THAT GOOD! We had a party of 8 the first day and went back with just 2 for a second time Wait staff was great both times. Portions are generous and staff is attentive. Variety is wide with something for every taste. Pizzas are incredibly fresh, crispy and loaded with toppings. Chicken was unbelievably moist with a crispy skin. Wine selection is considerable. Deserts are also wonderful! Ambience is comfortable, but active and the area is worth walking around. OUTSTANDING in every way. This will be my "goto" whenever I'm in the area.

It was raining. A manager meet us with umbrellas outside One friend was ushered in as she was using a walker and I used the other brought out to me to help the other 88 year old friend. We were ushered to the table chairs were pulled out for us to be seated!! Never have I felt so cared about. The hospitality was amazing! There is a tranquility and peace in the eloquent but casual environment overlooking the harbor and water On one wall separating the bar from the dining area is a huge aquarium where jellyfish float aimlessly The food served for lunch was excellent ! We are new to the area and we found this restaurant on OpenTable. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted a place that was quiet, great food & wine and service. The Iron Gate far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back. Our waiter, Stamos, was fantastic! His recommendations were spot on. We had escargot to start. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. We then had their signature salad which was prepared table side. I don't think I've ever had a better salad. For our main course, we had the Iron Gate version of lamb (there was also a New Zealand rack option) and the veal parmigiana. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and just phenomenal. For dessert, we had the grand mariner souffle and it was incredible. One of the best things about the restaurant was watching all of the flambe dishes. The servers were just so precise and you could tell they are passionate about giving each diner an experience.

This restaurant was a great little find. Great food, great staff and ambience. Really cute little find.
