I selected Thassos as our place of celebration, and oh how we felt like royalty! The food- just incredible. The service- best you’ll find in Chicago. The drinks? - better than those I’ve had at restaurants in New York or Denver. Such a romantic setting for our special day and I can’t thank Thassos enough for the beautiful memories we have created there.. Do yourself a favor and make a reservtaion, because this place has always been packed when I’ve been here and it’s no surprise! I can’t stop thinking about that Shrimp appetizer with red sauce and feta!! Out of this world!!More infoThassos Authentic Greek RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Greek• Clarendon Hills•4.7

The servers understand the need to be GF and know the menu well in that regard and I’m grateful that in addition to knowing the GF details alert the kitchen on my behalf. I love that there are different price points from $30 entrees to many options in the $20’s. All of the wait staff and bussers are friendly and attentive. They always check back in after the food has been served!More infoMaya Del SolPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Oak Park•4.8

The service was excellent, between the hostesses, the waitress, the manager… everyone was super attentive and so nice! The ambience was great, again vacation. Now the food…. it was delicious! We ordered off of the hot and cold tapas menu, everything was so good! We had no room left, but we had to order the pastor tacos… so good! My husband and I are already planning our next dinner and I’m planning my next girls night out here so we can try the sangria!More infoCOA - Drake OakbrookPrice: Moderate• Tapas / Small Plates• Oak Brook•4.4

The pasta Bolognese was absolutely incredible—just as good as (if not better than) what I’ve had in Italy! The flavors were rich, the pasta perfectly cooked, and every bite was pure comfort. Beyond the food, the service is what truly sets this place apart. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and attentive, making every visit feel special. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular, they treat you like family. I love this place and can’t wait for my next visit! If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with amazing service, this is the place to be.More infoPiacere MioPrice: Moderate• Italian• Forest Park•4.8
