- BBurtvipSan Francisco Bay Area •102 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAfter giving the server mild ribbing over the soft serve “swirl” actually not being a swirl and that the cookies that normally accompany not present, the manager came by and offered some cookies that had been set aside (baker was absent that day) and to comp us the non-swirl swirl. We accepted the cookies and declined the comp, but it was a GREAT gesture!More infoChe Fico Parco MenloPrice: Expensive• Italian• Menlo Park•4.5
- NNamrataSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI hadn’t been to Evvia in years and it was so great to go back. My friend and I shared a bunch of appetizers: meatballs, octopus, roasted beets and the butternut squash. The octopus was fantastic as were the meatballs. We each had a glass of wine and the whole meal was $100. Will definitely do that again.More infoEvviaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Palo Alto•4.8
- MMadhuSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024We initially booked a table for two, but two of our colleagues joined us later, making it a party of four. I must say, this place is phenomenal! We got there by 4:30, and the place was already quite crowded. This was my first time visiting, and I actually found out about Jaks through Forbes magazine. The ambiance was fantastic—not like your typical Indian restaurant. It was clean, simple, and very well done. Honestly, you wouldn’t even guess it was an Indian restaurant at first glance because the decor was so modern and upscale. They have a full bar, and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails, which were amazing! We also tried four sharable plates, and every single one was interesting and unique. The chef’s signature dishes, especially the sea bass, lamb shank, and lamb chops, were absolutely stunning. The flavors were so authentic, and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was very attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I heard from one of my colleagues that the menu changes every six months, which is pretty exciting. I’m already looking forward to trying their lunch menu next time. Overall, it’s a great place for dining—whether for a casual meal or something special. This was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be back soon!More infoJaks Authentic Indian & Modern VibePrice: Moderate• Indian• Santa Clara•4.1
