Best Authentic Restaurants in Kapalua

We went for brunch and highly recommend this little gem!The staff is friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and came out fast. I had the eggs benedict and the eggs cooked perfectly. My husband had the Mala breakfast plate which he enjoyed. The hash browns were fantastic! You need to put this on you list of places to try

Great service and good food. Server Maui was excellent. Good menu variety. Poke was tasty, chicken vegetable soup was awesome and Mahi tacos were great

The dining experience was excellent. The food is skillfully prepared and delicious. The servings are perfect. The drink selection is great. Amazing view of the ocean and Lanai from every table.

A great addition to the West Maui food scene. Feels like you are in Kyoto and you walk into a really good neighborhood sushi restaurant. Small and intimate space - 1 table of 4 and 7 seats at the sushi bar. The decor is clean and minimalist. The fish quality, assortment, and preparation were all outstanding! An all omakase menu with interesting sake pairings (good interesting). The hamachi shabu shabu, the Hokkaido scallop, and the snow crab were my favorites but the fish was all excellent and the ‘front row’ to watch the chef in action added to the atmosphere evening. For an authentic Japanese evening, Takumi hits the spot.
