Best Steak Restaurants in Oxnard

We had a valentines dinner reservation . The ambience , live music , little touches for Valentine’s Day were lovely …The fixed price menu was $300/per couple (price was not posted on the menu we had to ask) which included 2 drinks but ordering off the regular menu was much better value. Salad and entrees were very good although I thought $35 for a vegetable pasta dish overpriced . We were very disappointed in the strawberry pastry dessert . There was no strawberry filling and it was deep friend so you taste the oil. Our server could see that there was absolutely no strawberry filling in the one we received and she offered to replace it but we didn’t like that it was deep fried, perhaps the strawberry came out in the cooking process, she very kindly took it off our menu. Definitely a lovely atmosphere. It’s a beautiful hotel and if the prices are within your budget, you will most likely enjoy.

My wife and I went for our annual Valentine's Day dinner and again the meal was phenomenal. We shared the wedge salad chopped in the kitchen which was great, while enjoying a glass of Pinot Grigio. Our go to dish is usually the Chateaubriand for two but this time my wife had a new dish which was the crab stuffed prawns and I had the New York Strip steak. Both dishes were amazing.The service was exceptionally as was the atmosphere with a piano player playing in the background. I cannot say enough about Larsen's and the wonderful evening we had there. Great job everyone.

Service is A1+: everyone knows their job and performs it seamless. We had four different people (ordering, server from kitchen, busboy, plus various managers checking on us throughout the meal). After the meal, Our main server even helped my father-in-law navigate his walker down the ramp outside to the car. Food is also consistently excellent. Steaks are high quality beef and cooked to perfection. Sides and sauces are abundant and interesting. The baby lettuce salad is my FAVORITE: the perfect combination of ingredients, so fresh and beautifully dressed! For dessert definitely order the beignets (the closest you can get to New Orleans in Camarillo). Blissful!!!

Great food! Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Drinks are tasty and strong!
