Best Steak Restaurants in NoMad

My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Hawksmoor last night. The ambience, service and the food were exceptional. For appetizers we had the scallops ( best dish of the night ) and the potted beef. For our main we went with the porterhouse for two and the beef fat fries. Steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were amazing. For dessert we had the pavlova and a anniversary surprise.

Everything was as expected from a well established NY steakhouse. The food , service, staff and bartender were superb! Large delicious perfectly cooked and seasoned Ribhouse steak and the Chilean Seabass melts in your mouth. Our sides were the sautéed mushrooms and creamed spinach that were excellent and we started with the shrimp cocktail and thick cut Canadian bacon that were both equally delicious. The Roccos special chopped salad was truly special… delicious…My vodka martinis were superb and perfectly made and chilled as they should and the bartender who delivered them personally to the table was truly an old school professional and very NY personable.. Our waiter was the best and always available on a very busy Friday Valentines Day night and also very personable, charming and helpful… Ambience is like you’d expect at a NY steakhouse but not stuffy land too quiet ike some and it was crowded but the noise level was not annoying or an obstacle at all…Pricy as you would expect at a quality steak house …Overall this was a dinner experience with No complaints on our end… Highly recommend if you want a great steak..5 stars

Amazing as always. The maitre’d made our night after coming by and chatting with us. The hostess did a great job as well on a busy night.

This is an extraordinary restaurant. The chef is fabulous, and the Valentine's Day dinner was special, with items we haven't had, even though we've been to The Bazaar many times. Everything we ate was wonderful! The sommelier is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The service is professional and friendly. Highly recommend The Bazaar!

I had the best time! La Grand Boucherie has such a beautiful ambiance. Feels very chic when you enter. The bar is stunning. The staff was very friendly, bathrooms very clean. For starters my friend & I shared the ceaser salad. We each had a glass of Sancerre, perfect compliment to our meal. I ordered the Filet Mignon au poivre - it was perfection! I tried my friend’s Bavette au diane which was also fantastic. We shared a side of haricots vert- they were great as well. For dessert we shared profiteroles & the chocolate caramel tart. A great way to end our meal! Sooo good! The chocolate was not too sweet & not too bitter- it was practically perfect with every bite! The service was fantastic. The perfect last supper before my travels… Can’t wait to come back!
