Best Casual Restaurants in Rochester

Best happy hour menu. Great hush puppies. Love the pomegranate martinis. Delicious cheeseburger and spicy shrimp. We got a shark fin pie to go which is usually to die for and too much for two people to eat at one sitting. It was good, but different and not as good as it usually is. Our waitress was super.

The food was great and so was the service. I made reservations ahead of time. When we arrived, we were seated promptly.

We didn't get the server we asked for to wait on us even though he was working. There were only two of us but the hostess wanted to sit us at a 6 top table. Hostess gave us menus but no silverware and did that with every customer. All servers had to then go get the silverware for their guests which is more work for servers.

We went on Wednesday night to have dinner and wine while listening to Beth Stalker perform. A very enjoyable evening! 🌺

This a great place to meet friends. The good us fesh and well prepared. There are enough choices to accommodate a group. They always offer a special menu of the day.
