- TTheresaSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI love this location. It couldn’t be better to see the waves and the beautiful sunset and the happy people all around down at the beach. The only thing I wish is that the food had less added sugar. I felt the hidden sugar ruined the wonderful food. We Californians don’t like all the unneeded carbs on our plates. But the cool building, the sunset views, and the nice waiter, was all quite lovely.More infoThe Shores Restaurant - La Jolla Shores HotelPrice: Moderate• American• La Jolla•4.3

The food and service are always excellent. The views are spectacular. We keep going back because of this. I would highly recommend reservations especially in the summer. If you are visiting Del Mar and don't know the restaurants in this area, this would be a top location for lunch or dinner.More infoJake's Del MarPrice: Moderate• American• Del Mar•4.8
- AAlyssaVIPSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoGreat experience! Food did not disappoint and did not feel overpriced. Heard wonderful things about the service which was a little bit slow for us but it was Valentine’s Day and they had a seating at every table so that was understandable. We texted both of our parents from the table to wish them a Happy Valentine’s Day and tell them that we’ll bring them to The Pony Room the next time they’re in town. :)More infoThe Pony RoomPrice: Very Expensive• American• Rancho Santa Fe•4.8
- RRachelSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoDid not care for the fixed Valentine's dinner menu but that was our fault for not realizing that when we booked the reservation. Our server was lovely but there seemed to be a lag between courses which likely was a kitchen issue? Portions were small. Stopped somewhere afterwards so my partner could have a snack. Lovely ambiance as always. Will go back but not likely when a fixed menu is offered.More infoThe WineSellar & BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French• Sorrento Mesa•4.8
- CChristyVIPSan Diego •16 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 4, 2024Service was wonderful, beautiful setting. Food was just OK, we had the bread with hummus, which was a little heavy, the cauliflower bowl had too much lettuce and not enough vegetable.More infoTorreyanaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Torrey Pines•3.8
