Best Family Style Restaurants in Jamaica

This was a great spot for date night. Portions were massive (shout out to the waiter who cautioned us once we started piling on the orders - we ended up getting the perfect amount). Shrimp and artichoke oreganato app was delicious and the sauce on the chicken parm was fantastic.

A wonderful treat for a special occasion. We spent our 28th Valentine's Day together, dining on peking duck, carved table side, and a succulent branzino. Also not to be missed: The vegetable spring rolls, the hot-and-sour soup and the beignet doughnuts with Nutella drizzle. An all-around fabulous experience.

I ordered shrimp cocktail, sirloin, hashbrowns, and vanilla ice cream. Shrimp cocktail was unbelievable. The sirloin was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. Every course of my meal was great. My wife ordered baked clams and the filet. She is not a big steak eater and said the filet tasted a little gamey. She tends to like her steak a little to done for my preference. I love the history of Sparks and that is why we gave it a try. So glad we did. But the price of $431.00 after tip was a bit steep for two people to eat.

Good range of choices on menu. Handmade pasta is delicious. The house salad was not as tasty as it sounds on menu. Tiramisu was assembled table side, the freshness of the espresso dip and marscapone made it the best tiramisu I've had. The table for two next to the bar was very noisy for conversation. Service was friendly and helpful.

A great place overall. A very young, energetic crowd (in other words loud) but the food is excellent and it's not expensive for NYC. I go here every few months or so.
