Joule, the first restaurant from celebrated husband and wife cooking team Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, is re-located in October, 2012 to the innovative, newly developed the Fremont Collective in Seattle’s Wallingford/Fremont neighborhood. From its original opening in 2007, Joule has cultivated a loyal dining fan base and captured the attention of an admiring local and national media captivated by the couple’s unique, modern perspective on Korean cuisine. We loved The Shambles from the minute we walked in and now we continue the heritage of what was created before us. On the food side: high quality steaks, cut in house.     Everything the four of us ordered was beautiful and delicious! I had steak tartare, which is hard to find in this town, and was the perfect combination of egg, arugula pesto, and mustard, served with lovely, toasted baguette slices. My partner had miso cod with asparagus -- my, oh my! He let me have a bite, and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Don't get me started on the desserts. We shared bread pudding and cheesecake -- both lovely. The bartender made me a lovely Perfect Manhattan. Only disappointment was that there weren't as many beers on tap as usual, but what they had was satisfying. Love this place and the wonderful staff!

    We had an attentive waitress who was knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations. The noise was a little bothersome at first but there was great energy in the place so it’s a trade off I could get past. The food was excellent. The cocktail was delicious. I highly recommend taking an Uber/Lyft. The parking on the side streets on a Friday night was maddening. The dining experience was worth it though. I will definitely go again.

    Such a lovely night and dining experience all the way around. Food and drinks were absolutely exceptional. Service - wonderful: attentive but not intrusive. Ambiance…lovely, but just a bit chilly by the front door. Looking forward to returning soon.
