Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Newport Beach

Great food as usual. Service was patchy. Had to ask for utensils, no salt or pepper on the table. But it was very busy, so that might be the reason. Oysters were meeh, regular dishes great.

Our first time at five crowns. It was Valentine’s Day so it was very busy. Which was a good indication. It was well worth the wait. We had reservations. The weight was maybe 20 minutes past our reservation. The service was very good from the check-in to the server. Our servers, Will, he was very knowledgeable about everything from food to wine and dessert. If you go there, I definitely recommend the prime rib. I think it is the best I’ve ever had. And we are avid steakhouse goers. My husband had a prime rib and I had a fillet, which was also good. But next time I will definitely get the prime rib. 

Over-delivered my expectations. Every course was delicious and honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had. GM checked in personally with us on a busy night, another good sign of a well-run place.

I always enjoy visiting Tavern House. The meals are always delicious, but save room for dessert. Reasonably priced for the quality is service and cuisine. Don’t miss it.
