Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in River North (Denver)

I made reservations ahead of time and asked the staff for help to make this a special Valentine’s Day celebration and they did not disappoint. They went above and beyond to make the night special. On top of that the drinks and food were unique, delicious, and very creative! The atmosphere for this amazing skyline cocktail bar was incredible! It was lively yet beautiful and calming at the same time!

Went for Valentines Day dinner. After setting an alarm to be the first to book, they contacted me multiple times to let me know my reservation wasn’t going to be honored. After contacting me three times with no response from me as I was a little frustrated that I held off on booking other restaurants just to have the opportunity to eat there. Eventually they sent me an alternative time from 7:30 moved to 5 so I sent them a Seinfeld scene about reservations in response and requested a free dessert. They didn’t offer a free dessert for the inconvenience, but did start us with a glass of champagne. 9 course meal, 7 wine pairings (for my girlfriend), 7 cocktails pairings (for myself), with alternative A5 for my girlfriend, and an additional dessert as well. Food and service was all phenomenal (accommodated last minute gluten allergy), but don’t be surprised if your tab comes out to over $1,000 if you want the “full experience”.

Le Bilboquet is a regular favorite for us. The new renovations have made it a bit cozier and the new private rooms I think a good idea. The food is always very good and dependable. We had the cajun chicken which was excellent. I also had the Dover sole, a special on Thursday's and it was perfectly seasoned and delicious. We also got the normal crab and avocado salad which again was very nice. Very good food, very nice ambiance and service. I highly recommend.

We were delighted to try Gattara and use our credit from our dining club, Offline. It was easy to get a reservation and the staff were absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, the food was just mediocre. If you’re going to do pizza and pasta, it needs to be done really well, and this was not. Perhaps some of the other entrees were great, yet we were disappointed in both of ours. The pizza crust was neither thick nor thin. It was an awkward in between that wasn’t pleasant. Toppings were nice, but the flaccid crust didn’t hold them. Too many great spots for pizza in Denver to visit here again.

The Le Noir cocktail was divine. The Wagyu burger, fried oyster sandwich were delicious and the club sandwich was very good.
