Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Denville

Delicious! Fresh bread, great pastas and loved the wood fired pizza/flatbread with figs!

I had heard about Rails from numerous people who have always raved about it. So, I was very excited in anticipation. The restaurant is beautiful right alongside the Towaco Railroad Station. Plenty of help valet parking but a bit of a walk to get inside. The ambiance is nice with an extensive top notch wine list. But our waitress was not as knowledgeable about the menus that might have been a good opportunity for an upsell for our order. And it was kind of hard to get over that my guest’s lobster tail arrived raw. In sending it back when I asked the waitress about it she said oh! I didn’t talk to them, they’re very busy with it being the holiday. . . Not a very good first impression. Not even an apology. I would go back though. And I understand you can take a tour and go through the secret door to the bar in the cellar. The menu is a la carte which make it seem expensive, but the prices are actually quite reasonable.

Limited but very nice menu selections. Group had burgers , dinners, salads and all were delicious. Attentive service and comfortable atmosphere.

Visit worth staying thru dessert. Baklava cheesecake! So decadent!
