Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in The Gulch & North Gulch

This was our first time dining at The River House but it won't be the last. It is a lovely space with nice big windows that make it feel even larger than it is. The service was impeccable. We split the tableside Caesar salad and it was so nice to have the dressing taste so fresh instead of just poured on from a container. Definitely worth ordering. One of us had the Dover Sole and the other had the snapper and both were done perfectly. We shared the corn souffle and it was the best either of us has ever had. We will be back anytime we're in downtown Nashville.

From the moment we arrived, everything about the experience was exceptional. We ordered the Australian Wagyu, and it was hands down one of the best pieces of meat I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, it was tender and practically melted in my mouth—setting a new standard for what steak should be. The sides and appetizers were just as impressive. The brussels sprouts were roasted to perfection, packed with flavor and just the right amount of crispiness. The brûlée corn was a delightful surprise—sweet, savory, and creamy with a beautifully caramelized topping. And the lobster ravioli? Absolutely divine. Rich, decadent, and perfectly balanced, it was a dish I’ll be dreaming about for a long time. Harpers truly delivers a dining experience that feels special in every way. Excellent! I highly recommend Four Walls! The journey to finding it was great, the ambiance was amazing and the drinks were delectable. The mixologists were top notch!

Had dinner plans to celebrate two birthdays & the whole experience was absolutely fantastic. Each dish we had was beautifully executed and tasted amazing!Our server Brennan was so knowledgeable and friendly she really elevated our experience & the evening as a whole. Would highly recommend!

Overall, JBJ's was fantastic! We loved the music/band and the whole vibe! We first visited in the early afternoon and were able to snag a seat at the bar to watch the band and have a couple of drinks. Service was excellent! Walking around and looking at all the Bon Jovi memorabilia and art was fun! We returned later to have dinner at the 4th-floor restaurant (we had made reservations). The mood is very different in the restaurant, with a slower pace and jazzy music. We had a table by the window with awesome views! Service was a little slow, but they were all friendly and kept checking in with us. The food was okay, not awesome, not bad. We had a great time visiting and will definitely return next time we are in Nashville!
