- NNolaBaltimore / Maryland •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were there as party of 6 to celebrate 2 birthdays - a soon-to-be 26 year old and a soon-to-be 74 year old. We had the same group at about this same time for the same celebration a few years ago so the repeat was great fun. Our waiter Eduardo was excellent - giving us good recommendations and hitting just the right tempo for checking in. The rest of the staff were great too. Quietly slipping in to whisk away dishes, fill water glasses, etc. The food, as always, was delicious and fun to experiment with a few dishes. Ending the meal with 2 fabulous desserts (with candles) for the birthday folks plus coffees and expresso shots was perfect.More infoJaleo - DCPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Penn Quarter•4.7

Planning to return as soon as I’m back in town. Tried new menu items and loved everything we had. Highly recommend.More infoBar ChinoisPrice: Moderate• Chinese• Shaw•4.7

We did the chef’s tasting menu, which took us on a journey through 10 different dishes, each one more amazing than the last. As a Peruvian, I can confidently say this place nails the flavors while elevating them in the best way. The lomo saltado was perfection, the ají de gallina was rich and comforting, the arroz chaufa had that perfect smoky wok flavor, and the causa was beautifully balanced and fresh. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. And let’s talk about the pisco cocktails—perfectly crafted, smooth, and dangerously good. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food. The ambience? Just as amazing. Warm, inviting, and the perfect backdrop for such a special meal. And for the sheer quality and variety of food we got, the value was unreal. I left so happy, so full, and already dreaming about my next visit. If you love Peruvian food (or just insanely good food in general), you need to eat here!More infoChina ChilcanoPrice: Expensive• Peruvian• Penn Quarter•4.7
- BBrianWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoMy wife and I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day meal at The Point! The restaurant is a great place to go, giving you a great view of the water. They gave free roses to every woman who came it which was a cool surprise. The atmosphere was very nice. The music wasn’t too loud, there were a lot of cool decorations to look at, and despite being very busy it wasn’t loud or cramped. And the food was amazing. The warm crab donuts were fantastic, the Icelandic cod and crab was delectable, and the fried catfish sandwich was amazing. And if that wasn’t enough, the coconut cake and chocolate praline desserts were incredible. It was an amazing meal and we will definitely be back!More infoThe Point - DCPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Buzzard Point•4.4

My wife has seafood allergies, and the waiter ensured that he instructed her of food that were not entangled with seafood per her allergies. Excellent service and always checked on us regularly. Great service by our waiter named Jimmy.More info219 RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Southern• Alexandria•4.5
