"Casa Galicia Restaurant in Montreal is one of the best Spanish restaurants in North America. Casa Galicia has a unique cellar of reserve wines from Spain's finest wine making regions. Owner and chef Tino Oliveira's traditional cuisine from Galicia is sure to impress you. The many customers can also enjoy a pitcher of fresh sangria (said to be some of the best in Montreal) with their paella, zarzuela or other typical plates from Galicia. The staff is friendly and the decor unique. Flamenco shows with a professional Spanish guitarist on weekends."

We had an amazing dinner and the restaurant is very good, without questions about that. Although, when we're questioned in advance what would be the occasion filling the reservation, and we explain why the occasion is special, we expect to be in a very nice spot. Otherwise, there is no point to ask the occasion if absolutely nothing will be done to enhance the experience. We had a very nice server, good food but a terrible spot. It really doesn't make sense.

Incredible experience eating there for the 4th time in my life! The ambience is very cozy and intimate and you feel as if you're eating in someone's home. The food reflects this ambience and on top of tasting amazing (ingredients are very fresh and prepared expertly) it all just feels like a home-cooked meal made with love. Chef Davide sang twice during our dinner and he is truly a master of his craft on top of being a fantastic chef. He even came to see us at the end of our meal to ask us how we enjoyed the service and how happy he was that I had come to their restaurant multiple times due to it being so good! Class act. I recommend this restaurant to everyone in Montreal looking for an intimate italian meal that doesn't in any way break the bank. Pricing is extremely fair and I usually tip extra because I feel that I am undercutting them!
