Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Long Grove

The burgers are delicious and hearty. The brussel sprout side is crispy and tasty. The smokey Old Fashioned was really good. Spears is a feel good, laid back restaurant.

Had great food and excellent service. Wonderful experience for our Valentine’s Day date.

Wanted a place to grab a decent meal before heading out for the rest of our Valentine's Day evening. They had a dinner for 2 deal that included appetizer, soup or salad, entree and dessert for 69.00. We had the shrimp app, an amazing cheese soup, both had the sirloin (cooked to perfection!!) that came with garlic potatoes and fantastic green beans almondine. Truly it was as good of a meal as we usually expect from an 'upscale' restaurant. Our server was on point as well! Dessert was an over the top bread pudding AND a type of chocolate lava cake that was filled with chocolate mousse. Everything was perfection - except to find out that the desserts are not on the regular menu haha! Would definitely be getting those next time we come back.

Everything was fantastic! We were seated in the party room. No one rushed us. Food came just as we had ordered and hot. Service was great!

Mickey Finn’s is laid back, decent food, great atmosphere! You MUST try the Santa’s Magic beer, seasonal from November until it runs out-my favorite!!
