- JJaneWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWhat we ate was very good, but it is a limited menu with a lot of sausage and peppers on the menu, neither of which I like. I didn't find much on the menu that appealed to me so it was hard to order. I ended up eating a salad and an appetizer. My companion had a basic salad and pasta dish with sausage which was good. Pizza choices were good, but I wasn't in the mood for so much starch for dinner. At first we were shown seats next to a right next to a couple when there were many open seats, then shown seats next to a table of 6 - so I suggested a table at the end which was a table away from the first couple. These days, I prefer to keep my privacy and germs away from others - especially when the restaurant was probably 80% empty. Service was very good; prices relatively high for a very average-looking, boring atmosphere. I really wanted to like it more but doubt I'll be back unless it's for a lunch or menu changesMore infoClaudio's TablePrice: Moderate• Italian• Palisades Northwest•4.7
- RRobWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe went to Jont two years ago and it was spectacular then and I wasn’t sure how they could improve. However, this visit was off the charts and I’m not sure why they don’t have three Michelin stars yet. We have been to 30 Michelin stars worth of restaurants globally so we have a pretty good perspective. Chef Ryan was in the kitchen (which you essentially sit at a bar adjacent to) the whole time and he came over and spent some time with us which was very cool. The staff is funny, friendly and well informed. I got the special Waygu Zabuton in lieu of chicken and it was probably the best steaks I’ve ever had. Sometimes these type restaurants get a little too eclectic with one or two dishes, and that wasn’t the case here. Every dish wowed our family. In fact, my wife ate Uni for the first time (having passed on it before) and loved it. We feel fortunate to have this spot in DC and can’t wait to go back.More infoJôntPrice: Very Expensive• French / Japanese• U Street Corridor•4.9
- NNicoleVIPPittsburgh / Western PA •36 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 22, 2024This was a great experience. From the time we walked in until we left the staff were considerably, attentive, and extremely nice. The energy is inviting. The open kitchen was a nice addition to the experience filling the room with warmth. The menu was clearly designed with deep thought and intention. Would highly recommended.More infoThe DabneyPrice: Very Expensive• American• Shaw•4.7
