Best Cozy Restaurants in Orillia

I took my wife to PICNIC for Valentine's Day. Even though it was pretty busy, the staff too the time to answer our questions and help out with menu and drink selections. This was out 2nd time to PICNIC and we are looking forward to showing it off when friends come to visit. Such a wonderful experience and amazing staff. I highly recommend the shishito peppers!

We had a fabulous early Valentines date. Exceptional service (thanks Mel!) and attention to detail. We loved the cocktails, burrata, carrots, ricotta gnudi, and rib eye steak (best chimichurri sauce ever!). Perfect finish to the meal was the sticky toffee pudding. Thank you Common Stove for such a decadent evening!

The best fish and chips!! The tartar sauce is next level delicious. Always the best vibe inside. Love, love, love .

Good restaurant. Good food and ambience and good choice of menu options

Our server Jo, was wonderful. Our meal was okay but when you charge an extra $3 for a loaded baked potato you should make sure that there is $300 worth of toppings to justify it. It was absolutely ridiculous what was served on my potato compared to my husband's and his was not "loaded" either. It was suck a huge disappointment that the chef doesn't take pride in his presentation or servings and worse that mgmt doesn't stop long enough at the table to hear the answer to her question about our experience. While our server at this visit was and has always been great, and others as well, we visit often, it's too bad the servers seem to be the only ones who seem to care.
