- MMonicaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoCelebrated a girlfriend’s birthday in the outdoor patio. We had a lovely time. The food was great as well as the service. Since it was Valentine’s weekend we barely managed to get a reservation but the seating area was comfortable because of the heaters even in February.More infoCucina VentiPrice: Expensive• Italian• Mountain View•4.5
- RRobertSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoI really need to come here more often as it is a true gem in an otherwise less than stellar dining selection in Fremont. The food and the service are top notch. It is a small venue and so reservations are recommended. We dined for Valentine's dinner and between us we enjoyed the strawberry salad and lobster bisque soup, and a crab cake for starters, all of which were perfect. The steaks were tender and flavorful, cooked just right and I am rather particular so was quite impressed. Very nice wine selection, but I do wish they offered a cocktail menu. The topper for me was the chocolate raspberry cheescake. I normally prefer a very traditional and rich NY cheesecake, but this chocolate-infused variant was out of this world and I want to go back soon just so that I have enjoy that again. Il Porcino is a must to try in Fremont.More infoRistorante Il Porcino - FremontPrice: Moderate• Italian• Fremont•4.6
- CCatherineSan Francisco Bay Area •49 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoNice place. Elegant and the staff were all welcoming courteous professional and friendly including the bartender We had the octopus and meatball for appetizers rack of lamb and the Wagyu beef steak especially . Everything was good except the Wagyu beef steak. Wagyu beef is supposed to be soft and melts in your mouth. This one didn’t. Hard to slice and we ordered medium rare. Dessert proliferates was good. Service from our server great but she forgot to give us plates though she knew we were sharing. Apart from that she was great and friendly. Good experience over all.More infoMenlo TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Menlo Park•4.6
