Best Organic Food Restaurants in Maple Lawn

Food was good but service was a little slow and it seemed like we had to continue to ask for things instead of just having someone be attentive. I do plan to return and see if it was just an off experience because overall the food and vibe was nice.

We’ve been coming to Elizabeth’s for Valentine’s Day for more than ten years in a row, for good reason. First, it’s romantic, with wonderful ambiance, thoughtful preset menu options, and lovely service. Second, of course it’s delicious, but in a ways that’s at once a surprising culinary treat while also leaving you full but somehow healthier than when you arrived. If you don’t question, “how did they do that” about their vegan dishes at least a couple times throughout the meal, you just weren’t eating mindfully. And lastly, it’s a consistent, local staple that we can count on, down to Elizabeth herself facilitating things and stopping by the table in the most humble and thoughtful of ways. This place should have a Michelin Star.

I’m still giving this restaurant 5 stars regardless of one issue. They had ran out of a few items on the already set menu to choose from in a 4 course meal that allowed different options for each course. The staff were great, the food was awesome and the environment was great to be able to have a nice dinner conversation. The alternate meal options to sub for what they ran out of was still delicious. They also offered a free dessert for my next visit due to running out. Thank you so much for a great experience!

This restaurant was a good place to experience a new way of dining. The staff was very friendly and the food options were plenty.

Even the unfortunate fire alarm on Christmas Day couldn't spoil the mood or the meal. We had such great food and fun, and cannot possibly recommend the resto highly enough. There was nothing like this in Columbia, when I was growing up. Hats off to positive change. I just want to know when Clove and Cardamom is coming to Montgomery County, where I now live - or, DC where I work. I'll be sure to bring my friends...often!
