- JJeffreyVIPPortland / Oregon •64 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI have been to King Tide several time, I had some uneven dinners, but it was particularly good Saturday. Two of us had the King salmon and one of us had the scallops and we were all impressed. Salmon and scallops are easily overcooked and all were perfect. The wine by glass is good, and our servers was excellent and got us out in plenty of time to make our show at the Keller auditorium. The space in the Riverplace Hotel with views of the Willamette is lovely, and parking is convenient.More infoKing Tide Fish & ShellPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.3

- AAllenPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoOver all Chart House is a great place to eat. The only 2 things I have about last night is, it was a little cold, but it was also snowing outside so that could have been that issue. The steak I had, medium rare, was a little bland at first, but the flavor came when I started to get half way through the steak. I mean it wasn't bad, but I shared with my girlfriend and she agreed at first. But like I said I'm not complaining for what I got. I expected to pay about $300 but didn't know they had a couples special so I ended up spending $221 for the meal and gave a 59$ tip. So I am still happy with everythingMore infoChart House Restaurant - PortlandPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown•4.7
- WWalterPortland / Oregon •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOutstanding food in a very comfortable restaurant. We sat at the counter and chatted with one of the owner chefs. We loved doing that, and watched how all the food was being prepared and finished. It's pricey for Portland, but we felt that the level of the Mexican-inspired cooking was so high, it warranted the price. Certainly one of the best experiences we've had in restaurants in a long time. Highly recommended.More infoLilia ComedorPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Southwest Portland•4.8
- OOliviaPortland / Oregon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 25, 2025Food was exceptional. Service was prompt friendly and recommendations were spot on. We started with the mushrooms in cream sauce on toast and it was so flavorful. The fresh lemon to squeeze on top really made the flavors pop and come to life. I never would have thought to have fresh lemon with this. We ordered the scallops and red snapper entrees. Both items were fresh and full of flavor. We especially liked the red snapper seasoning. The fresh veggies were green beans with a yummy seasoned butter. Josh our server was great at offering a wine sample to help us choose which red wine was best for us. The chef, Olivia ended up helping us when we paid our tab and it was fun to chat with her and learn her history and experience. This long time family owned restaurant is worth taking the time to visit. We will definitely be back.More infoCafe Du BerryPrice: Moderate• French• Corbett•4.1
