The moment we walked into La Grande Boucherie DC we felt welcomed. The hostess at the entrance shared a little about the beautiful venue before seating us. PRETTY COOL BAR! Our waiter, Steven welcomed us again before introducing himself. His attention made our visit special, as well as the overall staff. We ordered the lobster bisque and the pear salad, the salmon and the steak frites and shared a cheesecake for dessert. We certainly enjoyed our food and dining experience. La Grande Boucherie in NY had already made a good impression on us when we organized a large gathering with family and friends. We recently dined at La Piquette and had a great experience. Our party of four was celebrating an anniversary and a birthday, and the afternoon couldn't have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, the cozy, intimate setting created the ideal atmosphere for our special celebrations. We skipped the appetizers and ordered our entrees, which included Prime Beef Steak and Frites, Lobster Risotto, Halibut, and Sautéed Fresh NC Shrimp. Each dish was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. It was evident that the chefs put a lot of passion and creativity into their culinary creations. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring every detail of our dining experience was right. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, adding a personal touch to our celebrations. And don’t overlook their desserts! They were the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The sweet treats were as delightful and creative as the main courses, leaving us thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Overall, La Piquette exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The only thing that would make me hesitant to return again would be the 2+ hour ride up I95. No, on second thought, not even that would keep us from being repeat customers.

We have been fans of Bistrot Lepic for many years. If you are looking for classic French bistro fare, beautifully prepared, this is the place to go. The ambience is charming and the wait staff is solicitous but not overly so. The menu is sufficiently varied so that you will not be bored by the usual French dishes.

It was an absolutely amazing experience. We were running a bit for our reserved time of 8pm, but they were more than accommodating. The atmosphere was cozy, and romantic given it was Valentine's Day. We were quickly seated and even though it was quite busy, we did not have to wait long for our server to hand us the Valentine's Day menu and take our drink order. The food was amazing, considering it was my first time experiencing French style cuisine. The server recommended a delicious wine to pair with the meal. I had the veal chop, and I can tell you it was the most tender, flavorful cut of meat I've had. The bill came out a bit steep, but nothing I wasn't prepared for with it being a fine dining restaurant. I would definitely like to experience their regular menu items and will make it a priority to return when I'm in the area again.

Our first experience dining at Chez Billy was delightful. It is an intimate restaurant with beautiful decor and attentive staff. The Caesar Salad and Onion Soup started our meal and were delicious ( the Caesar the best I’ve ever had). The Tuna and Duck entrees were perfectly prepared. We ended our dinner with the cheesecake and rice pudding … delish! Billy Sud is a little Georgetown gem.
