- PPattivipSan Francisco Bay Area •20 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFirehouse Bistro was a great experience in every way. The house salad was very fresh, with a light and complementary dressing. The grilled salmon and sea bass were perfectly prepared with just the right seasonings, some delicious side vegetables, and savory rice. Our servers were cheerful and appropriately attentive. We look forward to another visit!More infoFirehouse BistroPrice: Expensive• American• Woodside•4.8
- CCharlesvipSan Francisco Bay Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoBeef Bourginon and onion soup and fondue excellent. Chocolate fondant cake served cold not warm as usual. Also this dessert used to come with ice cream. Server did not provide list of specials or ask if we wanted dessert or coffee prior to bringing check. Nice ambience as usual.More infoLeft Bank Menlo ParkPrice: Moderate• French• Menlo Park•4.4
- KKevinSan Francisco Bay Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe are new to the area and we found this restaurant on OpenTable. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted a place that was quiet, great food & wine and service. The Iron Gate far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back. Our waiter, Stamos, was fantastic! His recommendations were spot on. We had escargot to start. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. We then had their signature salad which was prepared table side. I don't think I've ever had a better salad. For our main course, we had the Iron Gate version of lamb (there was also a New Zealand rack option) and the veal parmigiana. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and just phenomenal. For dessert, we had the grand mariner souffle and it was incredible. One of the best things about the restaurant was watching all of the flambe dishes. The servers were just so precise and you could tell they are passionate about giving each diner an experience.More infoIron GatePrice: Very Expensive• French• Belmont•4.8
